Fix-it Friday!

It's Fix-it Friday again! This week's photo came from Melinda over at Bloggin’ It From The Burbs.

My Fix:
I loved the way Melinda was trying to use the rocks as a frame around this little cutie, but he was just too short for it to work in my opinion. He got lost in all that rock! I tried make him stand out more by cropping in closer, while still keeping the frame of the rocks. I tried to use the rule of thirds, and adjusted the midtones and color balance a little bit too. It didn't come out extremely creative, but nice and natural like I like my photos to be! :) Looking at it again now, I think it would look nice slightly rotated then cropped even closer, but I don't have time to try again this morning!

My mom is on her way here as I'm typing this! I'm looking forward to spending the weekend with her, even though we're going to be packing most of the time. Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all have a nice weekend! :)

I like how you used a light hand with the photo by cropping in a unique way and making the colors richer. I think sometimes all the many changes we make in our zeal to be the most creative can sometimes make it a little much. This one looks very natural and brings the focus to this boy having fun at the park.
